ABOUT US

Building Bright Futures

Zawadi Memorial Health Training Institute was established in 2018 to honour the memory of Ms. Valeria Dominic Mrema's beloved son, her only child. The institute's noble mission is to educate and empower qualified healthcare professionals who will be dedicated to serving specific underserved populations, including women, the elderly, and children, in rural areas. This commitment extends to ensuring equitable access to healthcare, regardless of factors such as race, gender, education, sexual orientation, or economic background.

In pursuit of this mission, the Institute has formed a valuable partnership with Mawenzi Hospital, which serves as the primary teaching hospital for its enrolled students. Practical training opportunities are also offered at Mawenzi Hospital and Nganjoni Clinic, allowing students to gain essential knowledge, exposure, and hands-on experience during their training.

At Zawadi Memorial Health Training Institute, we firmly believe that accessible healthcare is a fundamental right for all. It is our unwavering priority to contribute to the creation of a healthcare system that benefits every citizen, promoting health and well-being across our diverse community.
