Zawadi Memorial Health Training Institute, situated in Moshi, Tanzania, is a non-profit, non-partisan private educational institution founded to address the acute shortage of trained healthcare professionals in Tanzania. We provide integrated diploma courses in Nursing and Midwifery and a Medical Attendant Certificate.

 

Our programs are meticulously designed to empower students, encouraging them to embrace new challenges and exciting experiences while ensuring that the process of learning remains engaging and dynamic. The pre-service curriculum is specifically tailored for aspiring student nurses and midwives, equipping them with the knowledge and skills required to attain the status of certified nursing officers upon successful completion of their studies and passing the National Final Nursing Examinations.

This commitment extends to ensuring equitable access to healthcare, regardless of factors such as race, gender, education, sexual orientation, or economic background. In pursuit of this mission, the institute has formed a valuable partnership with Mawenzi Hospital, which serves as the primary teaching hospital for enrolled students. Practical training opportunities are also offered at Mawenzi Hospital and Nganjoni Clinic, allowing students to gain essential knowledge, exposure, and hands-on experience during their studies.
